2nd movie of WinXP in Mac OS X showing time

(2006-04-07 07:37:50)

This video is for the naysayers who believe I accelerated the video somehow, to make it appear faster than it really is. I captured the video this morning around 7:30am (time set by time.apple.com).

This time, I show the Mac OS X system clock, and ran WinXP in 800x600 instead so you can see words more clearly. But since the final capture dimensions ended up being more "widescreen", YouTube squished the whole thing horizontally to be 4:3.

Snapz Pro saved the movie as Apple Animation pretty quickly, but it took me over 15 minutes to upload the original 38 MB file to YouTube...so the resulting timestamp on YouTube as you can see is 7:54am.

Finally, the graph I show came out of PerformanceTest 6 (CNET review), ending up with a (partial, no 3D) PassMark rating of 367. You can see the (very long) GIF capture here. I'm just getting familiar with this tool, but compared to that high-end Dell baseline system, 367 looks pretty respectable.
